this is my last day @ Rosyth and here i am, in school typing out this entry as i slack the time away. hehe. it's e-learning day today so pri 4 and 5 students do not have to come to school for lessons, but instead, they will stay at home and access the school's online portal to complete a series of assignments planned for them.
it took me less than 2 hours to sort out the stuff on hand for handover to the respective teachers. recounting on the experiences here, i would say that i had fun and enjoyed all the moments wif the kids. no matter how difficult how loud they can be, they have indirectly taught me to be a more effective teacher in the road ahead :)
for the friends (fellow nie trainee teachers) that i've made, they've been a great bunch of people around. we laugh, we talk and we gossip...like a market when there're no other teachers around =p one of them even suggested a name for our group -
The Hot & Sexy Girls' Club haha! the rest of us vowed tat we're not going to acknowledge her when we meet her @ NIE hehe.
we do not know this person!i will miss this place definitely. it contains memories of some
'firsts' i had here - my first observation, my first teaching, my first encounter wif a notorious class...and so much more. i will miss 4 Earnest dearly. the kids' smiles, three cheers for miss fang, aston's farewell song for miss fang, the charade, PE on dodgeballs which Sidney said was one of my weaknesses...etc and not forgetting the feedback that they've written for me, i will pour over them and keep them close wif me.
there's always a time to say goodbye, tat's what i told 4 Earnest yesterday. bringing these memories wif me, i am now more sure than ever that i have not made a wrong choice in becoming a teacher :)
