mr tham gave me a very memorable valentines this year. and i (still) am yes, on cloud nine for the night :)

we were having a simple dinner @ Werners when he excused himself to the toilet after we finished our main course. then suddenly, he came back wif a huge bouquet of red roses (108 stalks of them to be exact), took out a cute small-teddies-cum-pink-roses decor wif the diamond ring, knelt down in front of me and proposed.

for a moment, i was stunned. =P and strangely enough, i didn't seem to realise that the other patrons in the restaurant were looking at us. in my eyes, i saw his sincerity and love. so i took the flowers and initiated him to put on the ring for me. after which came a round of applause and even the couple at the table beside us said a word of "congratulations" to mr tham :) Werners served us 2 glasses of sparkling wine and 1 heart-shaped cake dessert on the house to celebrate! haha.

he knew i've always wanted a fairytale proposal - candles on the beach, guitar in hand to serenade, lightings on a tree and so on. he knew the initial proposal in the car last Aug wasn't enough to meet his girlfriend's request. but he had to do it then, cos he wanted to reassure me, he was afraid to lose me.

this time you've done it!

you must have mustered a lot of courage to be there, kneeling in front of me. i thank you, my dear for giving me such a wonderful night. a night i'll not forget, a night of surprise and memories. :)
