here in hamilton - small town in toronto, streets are quieter, ppl lesser.

have my sis checked into her residences this morning. cosy apartment wif a spacious living and dining rooms, a small kitchen well equipped wif stove, oven, fridge and microwave, a washing sink at the end of the house wif separate rooms for the bathtub and toilet. 4 small rooms down the corridoor; only a bed, closet area and a working desk in each room. pretty squeezed i would say. the uni was full of energetic students, all rowdy wif cheers and singing haha. bustling place for my sis to endure wif for the next 4 months.

i guess it takes quite a bit of courage for her to come all the way here to Canada, alone in the foreign place...don't think i'll be able to do that if it was me. though it's only 4 months, it's still a very loooong while to be away from home. mummy's food, daddy's long-winded-ness and beloved sis's chats she'll miss. =p but well, my sis being my sis! i know she wanna do all that while she can, it's a lifetime thing. these experiences she won't find anywhere else. so i'll wish her well, give her all my support. :) you go girl!

checked into a fabulous hotel this afternoon. a king-sized bed suite. read: suite. :) the room comes wif a small kitchen (there's a big fridge, microwave, stove and coffeemaker!), a sofabed, a nice working table wif an office chair, tv, king bed and a bathroom. and just this moment, my mum is cooking dinner - macaroni wif prawns and fish and sausages bought from a nearby Fresh Food Market! isn't that coool! haha. we can do our own meals here! :)
