didn't take any pics during the show, cos
1) i didn't bring my camera (bag checks conducted and i thought we can't bring any cameras or recording devices in; so all pics shown here were taken from my phone hee)
2) we were sitting too far away from the stage and i reckon the zoom won't be able to capture any nice pics of jay too
3) we were constantly in the dark, so pics will turn out black too
4) it was a real hassle to multitask picture taking and swooning over jay heh
in any case! no cameras = no pics. but as what mr tham said, the beautiful memories are always remembered in our minds. :)
so i forgot to mention how i was able to catch jay's concert. all thanks to mr tham! starhub gave us complimentary tickets when he renewed his mobile contract and bought a new handphone. though the seats we got were rather -> sucky, still i was thankful to be there. to catch a glimpse of my idol!!
he had me mesmerized by his fingers - piano, his dance, his songs and his voice for 2 and 1/2 hours. and of course, i was impressed by the use of fireworks during the show too. he sang songs from his previous and latest albums including, an1 jing4, ting1 ma1 ma1 de4 hua4, shuang1 jie2 gun4, qian1 li3 zhi1 wai4, ye4 de4 di4 qi1 zhang1 (guest performance by Lara for the girl part), bu4 neng2 shuo1 de4 mi4 mi4, tui4 hou4, fa4 ru2 xue3, mai4 ya2 tang2, ye4 qu3 and songs like cai3 hong2 (my fav!!), yang2 guang1 yu4 nan2 from his latest album. and etc etc. too many to remember! hee.
he also 'compete' with his guest performers (nan2 quan2 ma1 ma1) for the best re-written lyrics. =p lots of lame jokes going around to tickle the crowd and keep us happy :) and oh! he invited his grandma to the stage for a dance too. his grandma stole the limelight from him for a while haha, everyone was applauding for her. she was able to keep up with the dancer's speed and enjoyed herself tremendously, judging by her bright smiles.
after two encores, the concert finally ended. and can't believe mr tham and i were crazy enough to wait at this place for jay chou to leave! cos mr tham was showing off the 'secret' place which he discovered the previous time when he went toilet after the jacky zhang's concert. so we stood for a while, in bid of seeing our idol one last time!
but but but......
we waited till almost all the buses and vans and cars have left...still no sign of jay. even nan quan ma ma had come out - not a glimpse of jay. so we decided to leave loh. :( prob he left by another secret way!
