Arrived at Tokyo 6 hours later (2.30pm SIN time = 3.30pm Japan time) and the sun was setting already! After checking into Narita International Garden Hotel, the rest of the evening was free and easy. We went to the nearby Aeon ("ee-yon") shopping mall for dinner! Had ramen and dessert - a strawberry crepe (generous serving of fresh whipped cream, fattening but yums~) at a foodcourt.
conclusion: all shopping malls look the same.back to the hotel.

Day 2 - 9 Dec
to sapporo - hokkaido!
at Japan's Domestic Airport.
Went to a seafood market place for lunch where we bought a 18,000 yen crab to add on to our food! check out the crab!!
the crab we bought then. meat is soft, tender, sweet and succulent! finger-smacking good!!
Ai Nu Museum 
Ai Nu tribe chief explaining some of his tribe's beliefs and culture to us. They also performed some of their own traditional songs and there was one which i remembered particularly - a mother who sang a lullabye to her child so as to coax him to sleep.

Day 3 - 10 Dec
Edo Wonderland!
Edo warriors!
watched a performance of cool Ninja feats. with the brave and macho Ninjas!
Lunch~ lots of cabbage, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, carrots, chicken and udon! all steamed, very healthy!
Bear Ranch
Bought biscuits to feed the bears. honestly the whole place stank like crazy so we only stood around for a while and off we went to view an interesting landform - Mt Showa, raised from a farmland after 2 yrs of volcanic activities.Mount Showa - beautiful
