went vivocity today!
had dianxin for lunch @ Bosses. two thumbs up for their food! you just gotto taste it. :)

we ordered tianjin meat bun, queen of shumai, har gau, crispy salad prawn roll, crispy duck spring roll, white egg tarts, scallops in yam bird's nest and scallop & shrimp rice roll.
the siew mai was good - not those normal yellow outer layer wif the fatty meat inside, but there's a prawn stuck right in the middle of the siew mai; its body held together by a layer of scallop and then finally the meat filling. the skin of the har gau was quite nicely done - chewy and of the right texture. it doesn't stick to one's teeth like some others do.

the crispy salad prawn roll was quite a surprise dish. cos in the menu they wrote sha luu xia qiu so i was expecting to see prawn balls with salad cream but yea, they came in wrapped rolls instead. and guess what? the prawns were mixed wif fruit salad which had my fav mango bits, wrapped and fried!
the crispy duck spring rolls were generously filled wif bits of duck meat. dipped wif the sweet sauce, the taste is just wonderful!
we also had some white egg tarts. :)

oh and that's us! :)
