was at downtown east and the first day passed rather quickly...wif us going out to meet my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday and then watching dvds, slacking around. we didn't have a peaceful night though. cos the guests in the room beside us were very rowdy and though it was way past midnight at 1 plus, they still talked and laughed very loudly like nobody's business. sigh. we turned in only at bout 3 plus.

the next day, we went wild wild wet. took all the rides there are! the most thrilling one...was the Samsung Slide Up! if you've clicked on the link and looked at the photo there, we actually sat facing each other. so before we took the plunge, mr tham was facing downwards. which i thought was more scary, cos he got to see the steepness of the slide. but *gasps* when the person pushed us down, i realised that i was the one feeling the turns in my stomach! haha. screamed like crazy! very fun!!

then we went on to The Waterworks. took both the covered and the open slides, and gulped two big mouthfuls of chlorine water. mr tham laughed madly at me for that. tsk. i held my breath ya, when i sort-of guessed that i'm nearing the end of the slide. but still, the pressure when i reached the pool was overwhelming. so.........wasn't my fault wat.

heh while queueing for KFC...after all the fun and thrills, i was hungry ah...

and guess what? we managed to get a free dessert pie. cos we had $8 in our funkey card...and we thought might as well finish off the value. so we ordered the 2-piece chicken meal which costs $5.95. and added on 2 dessert pies which came up to $8.35. we asked the cashier if we could use the card and top up the 35 cents. but the cashier said, one-time payment either by card or cash. so we were like, duh. fine we'll just take one pie. then the cashier proceeded to deduct the money from our card. after that, mr tham was waiting for don't-know-what...going "erm..." then i looked at him and asked, "can go already, wat are u waiting for?" he gave me a lost look, but i just carried the tray away and walked towards an empty table. when we sat down at the table, he pointed to the dessert pies. and OOOH. the cashier didn't take away one of the dessert pies! haha. so we had a free coconut pie!! i looked at it and started laughing. so stupid! hahaha.

later in the evening, we went to whitesands for dinner. and he bought me a swensons mango tango ice-cream cake. :) back at the chalet, we were watching the dvd - The Devil Wears Prada when i fell asleep halfway. whoops. he woke me up at 12 midnight by softly singing a birthday song in my ear. :)

and he was really very blur. didn't realise that there was no knife for me to cut the cake. the person must have forgotten about it. in the end, we had to make do wif the spoon we took from Subway in the morning. digging and eating the cake wif the small soup spoon. how special huh. tsk tsk.

the next day, we had breakfast at macdonalds before we went back to the chalet to pack up and check out.

in the afternoon, we went for phantom of the opera!

the show was ......... fantastic!!! totally speechless. must watch!!!

i had a really wonderful birthday this yr. :)
