couldn't resist taking a pic of the cake. so beautiful with the candles and all. :) but whoops, i gave his age away. muahaha.

went night safari yesterday. and sadly, i couldn't take much pictures cos the animals are sensitive to light and no flash photography was allowed at most places. and my camera ah, works best with flash lah. if i switch the flash off, the pics will all come out blur due to hand-shake. :(

it was sooo crowded at night safari last night! bus loads of tourists around. had dinner at their very own bongo fast food restaurant. the chicken nuggets and fries at $10+ was a rip-off compared to the beef burger with fries at $9+. but but, i found the presentation of the coke drink rather interesting. the coke was served in this bottle glass (those squarish base glass container with lids that you need to turn to open...) with a handle at the side. cute right? :)

began our "adventure" after dinner. and gosh, when we went in the queues for the tram ride and animal show were terribly long. eventually we took the tram and were brought around to see the night animals. some were quite close to us as the tram drove past them and there's this buffolo (think i spelt this wrongly, ah whoops) was just walking alongside the tram like nobody's business while we wow-ed and ooh-ed at it. i suppose it doesn't need much attention from us huh.

went on some trails on foot. and managed to see leopards and fox cats etc. finally managed to catch the last animal show at 11pm. we started queueing at 10.10pm loh, all the earlier shows were sooo packed till full that we were refused admission. and thank goodness we persisted in watching the show. it was very entertaining!! we saw owls flying to and fro, squirrel walking across the vine above me, a fat and long snake wrapping itself comfortably on a volunteer's neck and stomach, leopard doing high jumps for its food etc. cool!

enjoyed ourselves tremendously :) though quite tiring after that. leg aches and smelly t-shirts. haha.
