full of anticipation and smiles!
arrived at a very crowded airport on a saturday afternoon. took bout an hour coach ride to the hotel. warm welcome by the hotel staff. friendly and courteous. totally impressed by their level of service. they even have ppl to press the lift for you!
we were in luck that day! cos their deluxe rooms were fully booked so they upgraded our rooms to superior rooms, at no extra cost!! their superior room is like...3-room flat! they've a living, dining, separated by a door to the bedroom, then a long corridoor leading to the cupboard room and then the toilet. the toilet has the bathtub as well as the shower!! simply cooool!! enjoyed the comfort of the room for 3 nights yea!!!
treated ourselves to a very sumptous international buffet dinner on our first night in thailand. :) they had live bands and a group of enthusiastic singers who went from table to table to perform!
discovered some 'interesting' stuff at the hotel's visitors area. check them out!
Day 3: and so our shopping spree starts! shopped till we dropped at MBK shopping mall.
Day 4: arranged with the hotel for a morning tour to a bigger floating market outside Bangkok. took this speedboat which brought us round to see those houses on water before we finally reached the market. after that we went to a village (i suppose) where they demonstrated to us how coconut sugar is made. the last stop was a carving factory. marvellous wood carvings on display, very exquisite. most of their clients are from US and each wood carving can take as long as 8 months to be completed!
done some last min shopping before we went back to our hotel for our transfer to the airport. awesome trip wif my cousins and family! :)
