i've finally hit the job crisis point.

been feeling quite bad the past few days cos once again, i wasn't given the chance to be converted to perm. instead he picked my two fellow colleagues who came in later than me for the interview. of course i'm not saying that he should give the opportunity to me just because i've been with the company for a longer time. we all know time is not an issue in the workplace, but rather the emphasis is on competency. and that's what i'm feeling quite indignant about.

you can say that i am very thick-skinned, but having worked till so far i can proclaim loudly that i've been competent in my responsibilities and whatever that's needed to be done, i do it before i leave for the day.

so why not me?

he said i didn't mix around with the other teams and take the initiative to ask questions. which was not totally true loh. i've helped out securities and fund transfer teams before and if this isn't called "mixing" around, then define "mixing" to me please.

besides, i DO ask questions now and then. just that when he happened to walk past i wasn't asking only wat.

sigh.

i've seen ppl moving forward, i guess it's time i give myself an opportunity to move forward too.
