we went for a movie at Vivocity yesterday. and oh my gosh. though the shopping mall is B.I.G, it was swarmed with people. and more people. everywhere we went, there's always somebody trying to cut our paths or us trying to cut someone else's path. heh.
so anyway. ppl are always curious about new things. ahem which explains why we were there too. :)
had dinner at carls junior. we shared this whooping enormous burger -> double pork patty, stuffed with generous pieces of bacon and cheese, laid with lots of tomatoes and lettuce.. yums~ and it cost a hefty 16 bucks!
the service provided at Vivocity GV was quite pleasant; while at the waiting area, there's this guy who approached each group of the movie patrons to advise on whether they could proceed to the cineplexes. and the seats were big and comfy that i fell asleep for a few mins during the front part of the show. whoops. heh.
finally watched The Prestige. another brain-wrecking show so it's good. never knew there's so much behind each magic trick.
then we popped over to clarke quay after that. and found the bungy jump ride a bit overwhelming. not that we sat on it, heh but just watching those who did, we were already feeling the hearts in our mouths. $35 for a couple of turns into the sky. hmm. worth the thrill?
sat around at an open pub for a while. i didn't drink though. haha. the ambience was quite good. sat at a table under an umbrella, with this lighted candle in the middle of the table. and watching the ppl come by and go, while he watched the football match. then after a while, there's this couple who started some live music performance. the guy at the keyboard, the lady taking the mic. pretty cool. nice songs too. with some night breeze. and the riverside.
how i wish for more nights like this. :)
