that day when my grandma came to stay with us, we were talking about my work when suddenly, whispering, she asked me if i fancied any guy in the office. i laughed it off and then her tone changed to a more serious one in telling me that it's time to look for a beau.
it's strange how fast the different phases of life pass us by.
first, it was studies. then work. followed by marriage. and soon, ahem family formation.
but no. i wouldn't want to think that far. i've just entered into the working stage and i want to enjoy the independence and new responsibilities of my life. besides, teeeheeeeheee my office has no shuai guys around. =P
for the past 2 weeks, i've been feeling quite bored and routinised. home-work-lunch-work-home. keying in data, checking data, generating reports that's about all.
but until today, i'm finally beginning to enjoy my work and my new found colleagues cum friends now. nothing beats lunching wif them - when we all laugh, crap, gossip and grumble about work together, like this afternoon :)
and also, until today when i finally get to speak with some of the other department's staff. appreciated their patience and help rendered even when they was busy wif their own work. i just can't tolerate ppl who shoves you away because you're new and telling you that they don't know anything.
quote for today: something nice happens each day.
it's just up to you to realise or find it. :)
*yawns :)
