for as long as i live, i've been telling ppl how much i loathe to teach. ppl always ask me, "wat will u do with a major in maths? be a teacher?" and i'll give them a defiant look and reply with a firm "NO".
ironically, i've just been employed as a part-time teacher today! will be teaching A Maths to the upper sec students at a tuition centre!
it's strange isn't it? suddenly a change of mind to do something that you dislike to.
with commencement ceremony in July, most of my friends have already started looking for jobs. and of course with no exception, i've also joined in the job hunt. as the number of job vacancies remains the very few, applying for a suitable one makes another difficult task. the level of anxiety in me is rising and i can feel it among my friends too.
i mean, can you imagine ppl keep asking..."have you found a job yet? have you found a job yet?" i know they care. but give us time huh?
time for consideration, time for application, time for interview and time for the result. you don't expect a job to just fall from the sky for you right? so irritating.
anyway back to the part-time job. i figured since it may take some time to find a perm job, i might as well make use of my time by taking on a part-time and in addition, to keep $$$ rolling in. haha, not a lot of $$$ lah but at least some to spend. it's the GSS yea!!!
and i guess i'll continue with it even when i get my perm job. it all depends! if i enjoy the classes that is. :)
actually i'm quite worried over whether i can manage the lesson and the class. my first lesson this sunday! *ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh* and i need to prepare my teaching stuff and do notes for them!! *pulls hair*
ha wish me luck!
