i finally knew......
milo dinosaur =
just milo topped wif chocolate/milo (can't differentiate which is it) powder
and it's worth a
good $1.50 (which i don't see why since it's neither "dinosaur" in size nor special in any way) at the famous cheese prata store near the kent ridge bus terminal!
but still, its mushroom cheese and special nikki pratas were commendable. hee.
jack's place lunch with sis last thurs. their service puts me off. this auntie who was supposed to show us our table just pointed and said,
"GO THERE PLEASE"instead of the usual
"This way please".
"GO THERE PLEASE" is like an order ok!! the "PLEASE" won't make up for the tone she used. then she placed the menu in front of us even before i sat down properly! and i had to pull out that darn chair myself to sit!!
after that, she came over to take our orders...my sis and I wanted the student's meal...then she had to look at her watch so many times to verify that it's already past 1.30pm...(the promo is from 1.30-5.30pm)
following that she asked for our concession cards and had to stare at our cards for so long before saying very loudly to my sis that,
"THE PICTURE DON'T LOOK LIKE YOU LEH"and then to me,
"WAH, FROM NUS AH?" (why, is that a problem? never see anybody from NUS before huh?)i swear i gave her a murderous look at that point of time.
"ALSO DON'T LOOK LIKE YOU LEH." (ya i'm too boh liao to steal somebody's card to enjoy this offer, can?)the soup was bland, the sprite was tasteless.
we had to ask for 2 glasses of water instead of them taking the initiative to pour for us.
angry:
-of the nonsense service ppl provide just because we're paying only $6.50 for our meals
-of the way ppl treat me -- like i'm still some kid or teenager.
that is, the honour of HOUGANG PLAZA's Jack's Place for having me as their patron.
----------------------------------------
compared to Marks and Spencer...where i waited for about 10 mins at the cashier just to pay for a packet of biscuits which costs only $3.50...
their service was way way way better...
the cashier still said,
"sorry to keep you waiting..."
and then,
"thank you"
at least twice before i left...
----------------------------------------
i'm not an unreasonable consumer.
i just want some respect.
i say my fair share of "thank you"s to cashiers and sales assistants too after my purchases and enquiries.
treat ppl the way you want them to treat you yea?
